Holly is a qualified Naturopath with over 6 years experience as a clinical practitioner. She has also completed a Masters degree in Acupuncture through RMIT and aims to bridge the gap between Traditional Chinese Medicine and evidence-based practice.
A consultation with Holly incorporates the use of thorough case history taking, discussion of appropriate pathology testing, physical examination, clinical nutrition, dietary planning, herbal medicine, and lifestyle counselling in order to create tailored programs to suit the individual needs of each client. Further appointments may involve acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion (heat therapy), and motor point therapy for musculoskeletal conditions.
Holly has extensive experience in resolving allergies and frustrating skin conditions by investigating the underlying causes, often involving a correction of digestive function and hormonal imbalances. She has explored many approaches in assisting the resolution of these conditions and enjoys the often rewarding journey to recovery.
Holly’s particular areas of interest include the following:
• Skin conditions: eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne
• Allergies: hay fever, food intolerances, sinusitis, hives
• Mental health: anxiety, depression, stress management
• Hormonal imbalances: painful periods, headaches, post pill amenorrhoea, menopause
• Digestive complaints: irritable bowel syndrome, bloating, Crohn’s disease, reflux, parasites
• Children’s health: including ear, nose & throat
• Thyroid & adrenal health
With a warm and practical approach, Holly will help guide you toward the best alternatives in complementary health in order to cultivate an awareness of physical and emotional wellbeing.
